Central Florida Scholarship & Support
We focus on students, families, and schools in Polk and Osceola Counties. Our goal is to help local students get to college, stay in college, and stay connected to their community.
Students in Polk and Osceola County high schools who plan to attend a 2- or 4-year college, university, or vocational program. We support you with scholarships, mentoring, and cultural enrichment programs.
Students who have already received a SAHCCEF scholarship and are enrolled in college. We help you stay on track through continued funding, check-ins with mentors, and access to enrichment opportunities.
Teachers and staff who apply for mini-grants that bring learning, culture, and creativity to students. Teachers, counselors, and school staff in Polk and Osceola Counties who want to offer richer learning experiences. We provide mini-grants and program support for projects that build skills, culture, and confidence.

If you’re a student or parent in Polk or Osceola County, here’s how to start the scholarship process.

Review the basic requirements for grade level, school location, GPA, and deadlines. Make sure you feel ready to stay engaged with your mentor and community if selected.
Use the portal to create an account, complete your profile, and begin your application. You can save your work and return to it until you submit.
Answer all questions honestly and in your own words. Upload required documents, such as transcripts and recommendation letters. Double-check everything before you click Submit.

SAHCCEF scholars don't stop when they graduate. Our Fellows network connects alumni to each other, to current scholars, and to opportunities that extend the impact of their education.
Current SAHCCEF alumni pursuing graduate or post-graduate studies can apply for a $4,000 stipend. Applications open March 15 and close April 15, 2026.
